After a troubled childhood and eight and a half years in prison, Maury Davis embraced his calling and passion for reaching the lost and dove head first into ministry, serving in several positions such as youth pastor and then an evangelist. In 1991, Pastor Maury Davis preached a service to the then 250-member congregation of Cornerstone Church, accepted a position as their Senior Pastor, and has now grown the faithful congregation into over 3,000 of weekly attendees.

His television program is the most-watched Christian broadcast on any channel in Middle Tennessee every Sunday morning.
Maury Davis maintains a close relationship with local legislators and has opened the State Senate or Congress annually in prayer for over 10 years and has even had the honor of opening the US Congress in prayer. As a prominent and respected member in the local community as well as global faith, he has served on the boards of Southwestern Assemblies of God University in Waxahachie, Texas, The Assemblies of God National Missions Board, and New Life Corporation in Nashville, Tennessee.
