Jeffrey S. Smith


Jeffrey Smith has over twenty years of experience in the areas of leadership development, change management, and building effective businesses and churches. As a coach, he helps today’s leaders break through barriers that prohibit progress and enter a place of greater productivity and purpose. His experiences in fostering cultures of collaboration, cooperation and creativity have proven beneficial to a variety of organizations.

Jeffrey is motivated to elevate leaders and empower others to reach their potential. As a coach, consultant and speaker he partners with leaders and organizations to improve their levels of effectiveness, efficiency and excellence. Training and coaching high performance leaders has taken Jeffrey to Mexico, South Africa, Brazil, Kenya, Nigeria, Canada and Australia. Through coaching, Jeffrey helps others access new ways of thinking that enables them to enjoy greater levels of balance and fulfillment. In a world of rapid and increasing change he assists individuals, teams and organizations in navigating the uncertain territory of transition in a way that unlocks latent potential.

Jeffrey began his career as a marketing representative for IBM, followed by positions as Trust Administrator/Officer and head of the Corporate Trust Department for National City Bank in Toledo, Ohio. After his corporate experience, he served in pastoral ministry for nearly twenty years before becoming Lead Pastor of Strong Tower, a vibrant church in Fredericksburg, Virginia.

After 20 years of working with pastors and leaders he has developed keen insight in the areas of strategic planning, systems implementation, enhancing staff productivity as well as conflict resolution and team building. Jeffrey also serves as the Director of Cornerstone Global Network.
